For about a year and a half, I’ve been loving the “casual dress”. I loove versatile pieces that can be daytime/nighttime, can dressed up or down. With so many casual dresses out on the market, the focus on design is what sets the dress apart. Love a body-con dress, however; the pooch (stomach poof) is not a welcomed sight to see. The Gwinne Jersey Wrap Dress by Superdown gets 5 stars in my book- super clutch for many occasions. I’ve worn (and washed) it many times- the quality of the material has held up really well. The tie/wrap design flatters two ways; by 1. creating a buffer between the stomach poof area and the asymmetrical panel that ties to the side, and 2. the tie- off to the side and asymmetrical panel creating a cinched look to the waist, and panel- creating more shape, especially flattering to my “athletic/lean” body type.
Next up the cardigan. Oh I love a cardigan, always. This has been my fav because it’s over the top (over sized, fluffy, fuzzy, colorful), yet the choice in all the mixed patterns and materials combine in a chic, lovable way. Lots of people, gals and guys have asked me where I got it from…..drumroll please….Fashion Nova! It’s the Feeling Groovy Cardigan, purchased it last year, became unavailable- and now it’s back!
